I should be sleeping now but i cant and i feel obliged to blog.

Had ended doing london shift whc i have done for the past 1 year 7 mths.

and its time for a change... last week was real gd but was truly tiring getting back to the normal time zone.

Had jazz/hip hop lessons on mon, tues was swimming +dinner with ex colleagues, wed was fredy's class n omg he should like pls upload all the 3 videos for the classes iw ent for, he seems to omit them when im in :( hahah, thurs is gym and dinner with jenny, fri is contemporary dance in gym+vivo+cafe del mar party, sat is sleep + gym + dance at youth park (i din know Oschool battle was held there), danced in the open for the first freakign time of my life, damn humid... n i waited like 1.5 hours for more for everyone to arrive n start dancing.. next time should just be late an hour.. heh... sun was sharing session with RS group, taufik was sick so we did basics for hip hop doing Old school, middle school and new school. was kinda fun but i forgot most of the terms by now. damn. winnie gave some whacking basics whc i did before but was fun to revise again..

omg am i realli going to dance so much. i need to date ...damn...

going to sit in ballet class next week, den prolly will start.. i also wana go studiowu and danzppl (derek's class), miss him leh... but $$ no enuff .. n time no enuff..ok gtg slp bye... hope to have some pics soon. bz day at work tom...

Lotsa stuff to comment lately, i seriously cannot wait to get back to APAC shift. oh did i mention that im changing back to normal working hours. Working in the evenings really sucks. i hate it. More so now. Really. I will keep the main reason to myself. I'm happy i get to spend my evenings with my friends n love ones. That said, im worried i will not have sufficient slp or time to do other things since i will be so tempted to be out everynight etc.. heh.. but the most shitty part is the 25% pay cut and HR refuse to increase my base pay. But, oh well, she mentioned at least i will my life BACK, lets see if it turns out true. I'm not sure how am i going to adjust to lesser pay ..1)cut expenses 2)dun save.. arrrghhh...

Just got my Vitamin B letter yesterday! Had no expectations so having a little $ is better than none. But it sucks tho if you compare it with my peers or even the govt sector &*(^&(#*^&*(%$&(^(!!!

Anyhow nvm. New year has started and am looking forward for greater things. Am going TPE this Sat so excited. tho i haven even started planning.. DAMNIT! I am sooo bz....so many things not done.. Any dance studios to recommend in TPE? hehe

On a side note. Just danced like total of 6 hours last weekend. By the last class iw as so tired and my limps were jelly-liked. But it was no excuse, i initially remembered the steps, but when broken into small groups with ppl watching/camera in action. I FORGET ALL THE STEPS. I LOOK LIKE A FOOL. I FEEL SO STUPID.. HOW COME OTHER CAN DANCE SO NICE EVEN WITH PPL LOOKING ON THEIR FIRST ATTEMPT INFRONT OF THE CAMERA!! KNN!! :( sad.. not talented enuff. just have to be more hardworking. It's my 4th year dancing... fredy dance for 3yrs and he's like my idol! ahha.. oh well...

Oh and Pink $$ won funka.. was great. they did the boys proud ha. at least the judges werent biased, or prolly they couldn be cos it was obvious.. hmm i like the emcee hehehe!!!

Anyway new year+bday resolution. be a better person, get a day shift job while retaining my job. some bonus pls. everyone to stay healthy. to attain my 6 pecs lol. to be a better dancer really haiz, n to branch out to choreographing

Speaking of which i am really upset. I am so glad Caleb/Candy invited me to the rhythmstylus community group. Everyone is zai and quick in catching steps. I think im the slowest of them all. and when im stress i forget steps and it is apparent in the video. I think i blemished some of the group ones and also the 3 person ones (gosh i get freaking stress in small groups). i felt so bad cos they would have more video choices if prolly not for me (im a sinner).. i really need to improve... but i need to calm down n feel comfortable first.. its all in e mind, im so easily distracted and cant concentrate unless im damn comfy w e group.. maybe cos im new n dun realli know them but its not an excuse cos a dancer haf to catch steps like that.. i can use the excuse of the room is too hot and thud distracting me but i think its crap. I get stuck at like the same two steps all over again.. damn...its really irritating.. ok hopefully after two weeks when i rejoin i will be better.. speaking which i've got choreo to share (but not sure if its zai enuff for the zai ppl_, we'll see. n im sad ive to miss caleb's choreo..n chingyi fri wu's perf as well as funka.. bo bian am going overseas. ok heres e video. the best version !

neway.. had a great time the past few weeks.. (YES N SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY).

went for studiowu charity dance class today. lunch at some jap curry place at city hall. followed by snow white musical . entry and drinks to bed and supper club and cab home.. easily $100 gone today..

n not counting yest NRA performance...

NRA perf was gd.. our dance standard is leveling up haha..

first half. i liked fredy's item as always.. n i like fredy.. secret fan hehe

ok.. i liked zaihar item. v street v nice..

2nd half...i like individual choreo more.. not v into their jazz stuff... maybe im more demanding.. i tot their hole ya mun (cant rem how to spell it) version of reggae was not too bad and terence's part was sick.. overall the whole show was gd..

snow white was amzaing.. the jokes and the interaction with the audiences was just overwhelming.. the drag peageant part was hilarious to the MAX>..

n i always thought sebastian tan was gd playing bengs... now i think he really act like the QUEEN..man is he gd...

celine was fabulous as usual.. so pretty yet power pack when need toooo...

oh i like the prince..so boy haha

snow white was ok.. quite convincing..i actually teared abit hehe...

i just love the whole show...song segment.. n choreo by ryan was dope.. can see not some old school (i mean old school not oschool choreo)... was tight an virtually eye catching ..i like...

Fabulous weekend

Sat went to collect my tailored shirts from my tailor... darn i got lost ard the industrial area.. made jenny waited awhile... and hence we were late for Wu's class. only attended bryan's freestyle hip hop.. i love whacking.. lunch at billy bombers followed by shopping weee..

later chingyi and i rushed to fort canning park for the world aids day concert.. abit uncomfy we had to sit on the grass.. but we bought mat from daiso n lucky we took a cab up ...i was soooo tired from the night before -supper at coffee club for xuan's bday.

we missed the first n the last part of e concert.. we din wait till stefanie sun and i had to rush to meet my frns at the new bar in town.. but the rest of the concert was not too bad overall... esp with hossan and the dim sum dollies and of course hamzah's dance performance segment.. many familliar dancer faces... but anyway hahha...gd lah....the rest of the unknown bands were abit of a bore but ok lah lol..

Bellini Grande whc is located at the old crazy horse location. It was quite classy and the ppl there was well dressed. poor stinky me wearing a t shirt entered into the posh club.. heck care... it wasn tat cheap also the drinks n entry...

but i think it was worth it.. the live singing, dance, cabaret-ish acts, live orchestra was fantastic... THE BEST PUB act ive ever seen.. not only are the dancers all foreigners, they were all young, HOT.. n i mean HOT.... n most have techniques to boost.. the choreography was gd. singing great.. the transitions.. seamless... its quite hard to keep my attn span or keep me high but i was... ooOOOO.. i missed the first segment n later they started playing like retro songs whc was OK la... the 2nd segment started... was fantastic.. i duno how long it lasted bt i guessed almost for a gd whole hour... CHIO n HOT female dancers with endless legs from paris and cuba.. hot MALEEEEE dancers and singers from paris/cuba/UK/Australia tooo...... droollssss... nice costumes...nice atmostphere.. of course the colleagues were great too....cant wait to go there with my besties heheh..... :) so fun

got ham sup old man commented we danced well.. cos we were e younger and more happening group :p ...n of course gd lookig lah LOL.. bhp ...bt true... !!!

sunday was dance, gym, movie ... i love my darlings... n im so excited abt O school recital this coming monday.. come support k? www.oschool.com.sg

Hell week for me

It's really not an easy task trying to relax nowadays. With Citigroup abt to slash 52,000 jobs & RBS 3000 jobs. Really dosen't seem like anyone's job is safe in this current state and economy.

Private housing prices are coming down now. and more so in the coming months.. too bad no $$$ if not i can buy one apartment now... cant wait to live independently...
so tired from work and all that i hadn't had much time for dance. I only danced on last Sun whc was vetting n i was so blur cos i din come for Fri's vetting... arrgghhh
super blur.. n most of e songs e guys only do like guest appearances then the girls do... hmm except for anan's part lah... but guess cos there are more girls ard.. but i shd really be complaining..at least im famililar with all the steps ...or soon to be familiar... im quite lazy.... there was this reggae move whc i did, e split then shake ass one (adopted from hamzah), during my freestyle session. Xuehui actually let Razmy do for solo in her choreo.. whc i thought was quite a gd idea, moreover he is one of the best dancers in the item...so he shd do it... haha... but i just tot tat was my signature move after hamzah haha... but ok la... im not e only semi flexible one.... kekeso happy that the shape of the whole item is coming out. n i really like wat i see.

im a funny blogger, blog abt economy than abt dance. neways i got 2 bed&supper club free dinner voucher, anyone wana go with me, jus have to pay for drinks lah.. ahha..

The economy is taking a turn for the worse. Shd we all consider being teachers?

Even a gd frn who once was so optimistic now just swears that retaining her job will be a bonus. Will there be more job cuts after DBS retrenchment and the downfall of Sands. Yet to see. But i reckon. Even my job aint secure, wish me luck.

Anyway i really need to stop spending. The past one week or so, i was damn stress. I needed retail theraphy, and it didn't help that the were SALES everywhere. But a nike shoes for $70 at two foot? sale, collected my tailored pants $100. Paid one tailored shirt and ordered two more. Club 21 sale, freaking bought like 200+ worth of stuff including gifts for ppl lah LOL... a bag/two jackets/1 hoodie/undies... pics later haha.. n also cabs.. been taking cabs back esp after mid nite shows.

Im also suffering from heatiness, late nites and insufficient slp.. Ulcers, eye rings, lotsa pimples..damn.. n i think hair loss.. I really need to spend hell lotsa money on reconstruction work on my face n hair. WOrk and OT with dance is taking a toll on my old body. HAHA.. but alas dance has been gd lah.. just did an assisting job in Sengkang. Tkx for the lobang jie-mei. Estee's DnD is over, damn fun. SupperClub show is over, damn fun too.. but realli too tiring.

I went for Vincent class at Cali on sunday. He's not bad, we did quite a number of balletic stuff, he was filled with zest, vigour n passion ahha.. jenny said that will die down in a few more months haha.. Ok lah.. he's alrite, jus that abit too detailed till im bored... but its amazing how he keeps using those ballet terms to all the layman gym goers (reads uncle and auntie).

Later on, went Oschool for rehearsal. My mind was alr dead, body lagi more dead LOL. N we had like 3 hours of solid blocking from Gin and Anan, and alot of steps werent used meaning more new steps. My brain was seriously fried. The young peeps were really gd, not to mention energy. AHHHH cleanup session on Friday for ANAN and blocking for Xuehui fri. i cant attend.. ARRGGGhh..sorry xuehui and anan but i really cant take leave liao..... :(

One more thing, I wanted to choreo for evo, but with the economy lidat and the new venue.. not v enthu liao.. was considering between womanzier(street jazz) and bleeding love(lyrical jazz -whc i have started choreo-ing liao)... but might have to give up leh......... SIGH....

this is the last leave i have for this mth. must work hard at work.

v hectic mth with oschool rehearsals(not much), vettings, Supperclub show and rehearsals. Estee Lauder rehearsals and show. Was all v v fun but now back to reality....

feeling darn heaty n tired..n bruised legs from the britney item for estee..

need to slp early tonite for the whole mth of energy outburts.. exams r coming but i haven started.. sigh..

i deleted my ex-post but cos i felt i wrote it on impulse. Anyway i might haf offended some ppl in office so i better jus keep quiet n mind my own biz for now. heh headhunter called jus now, to think that thr r still jobs ard despite the retrenchment going on in my company..

everyone was shocked and worried including myself.

side track abit, i really enjoyed myself at james too and with my dance darlings.

Just hope share prices will go back up to higher level.. but i doubt so as economy hasn bottomed out yet, the worse is yet to come, we shall see...

I talk. sometimes too much. N whine too much. Much to the dismal of my own reputation.

Sometimes things i do or say ruin a friendship. Sometimes im too direct and i put ppl down. But im better than before. I used to be called big mouth.. but not on purpose but jus that im so direct that i tend to think or say without considering the consequnces.

I've learned my lessons. but sometimes it still not enought. In recent years, ive caused some strains in frnships/relationships.. oh well.. i guess im jus quite opinionated, n sometimes i like to get my point across. In fact, everyone wants to be heard, to be known and to be right(as in always correct). So putting ppl down or sounding bitchy (rubbing ppl's idea's off) aint always a gd thing. I also find myselgf puttin ppl down at times (maybe that makes myself more confident? i dun really know). but ppl ard me do that too.. but they only pick on others, no one dares to directly put me down haha, maybe i look too fierce, too bitchy at times? or too nonchalent.. i duno..

Only true frns will tell, or maybe not even tell u when u shd not say certain things on occassions. I think its up to ones perusual to decide. Sometimes, unknowingly u might offend even ur best frns for years, much so for ppl u duno..

im not v sure.. but really.. shd we watch wat we say? a foreign frn once told me of sporeans.. they are bad tempered/money minded and bitchy.. is that true? i think to quite a large extent.. let me add (rather self centred).. perhaps myself included?

my new resolution: really stop whining n get down to work.. but i really dun have many ppl to talk to. Im on diff frequencies from my parents.. we arent even that close as a family. i tried.. but its realli haf to syncronize our mindset to talk. i dun haf many close frns. due to my str8 talking nature n also my fleeting frnships that din have much time to sustain. I had rather work during my vacations or dance so i cannot blame anyone but myself.

As one grows older and start working. the yearning for some really sincere n close frns and also a companion grows. But then again, frns come and go.. can we really find better ones? even companionship is not lasting, look at madonna n guy richie hah.. so in gist love urself to love others better, cos nothing in everlasting. Build your true self to serve the greater purpose of making one and people around you happy!...

AFTER the stock market crash

It has been awhile. Stock markets crash, causing me to lose quite abit of $$$..

Thats beside the point, back to the more happy stuff, dance has played a fair part in my weekly social life. Esp last week while i was on leave.

I was suppose to be on a trip to Vietnam last week while on leave, but it was cancelled lah (lets not go into details) , was quite pissed but oh well.. great week of relaxation albeit having big ulcers the whole leave period.

What did i do? sundays as usual ive been having reggae rehearsals for oschool.

Mon of the hols- sheila's NY hip hop (abit of street funk kin using pussycut doll's pop the bottle).. i was so kan cheong did when doing in groups.. i keep forgetting bits n pieces..so malu

Tues-Bryan's hip hop. i really liked what he did on tues, it was so fun and groovy.. ahhhh.

Wed- sheila's jazz... great stretching after such a long time... yeah my left leg is now more flexible hehe... n i love her choreo --cant rem e song... but i think i aced the choreo... personally (cos i felt comfortable doing it, beside the part on the floor whereby our legs were supposed to be in a V-shape... I did more of a U-shape due to the stiffness of my thighs and the size of my legs lol.. but i still loved it. Pity i cannot go back for future classes :(

Thurs- my fave. gin.. i get butterflies in my stomach everytime i go for her classes.. cos she's my idol... n as usual this time as well.. i keep forgetting steps lol... i shd jus do n not think. but easier said that done.. her steps r so fast n not at all natural for me.. but of course... her style n choreo is uber chio lor.. video below heee

Sun- too tired but went for reggae .. today choreo is by gin.. xuehui's part is over.. thank god.. its nice but super tiring... easily e most tiring choreo of the decade.. Gin's choreo is soooooooooooo NICE ...i just soooooooooooooooooooo LOVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE it ...my ou xiang..she talked to me n asked me if i was still in NUS haha.. i told her i was working in the bank.. she said i din haf the banker look.. i agree-- lol..anyway im not a banker, im just doing data entry in a bank haha

I've been going for regular reggae classes nowadays since there are no tech class.

N the gd news is im in the reggae item for oschool recital in Dec... weee...so happy tho i was a tad disappointed i din get into street jazz (prolly cos i nv attended any of their classes b4 on that).. i tot i nailed e choreo fairly well but well oh well... i think i did hip hop fairly ok too but im not disappointed im not in.. cos there are like 200 ppl auditioning ...so yah... but i went for ann's class last weekend n i really liked wat she is doing.. so much isolation n i love it....

I woke up late and i was damn late for reggae class at oschool..

when i entered the class, they had just completed their warmup..darn..i feel damn stiff... xuehui is a gd instructor. but her steps really quite diff from anan.. n yes ive nv done such fast reggae before.. look at me forget steps in the below video(n i forget the most steps whenever video session occurs, darn).. ok la but i enjoyed the session. im the only guy in white blocked by the green pants char bor..

Sunday was like 8 hours of dance.. but whole body is still aching.. mostly from e audition that lasted like 3 hours... so glad i din forget steps.. results out today..wish me luck hehe... n omg i need to recap taufik steps for SUAD.. if not im dead

On the bright side, i can go for reggae class weee.... i think every week like this will cause a hole in my pocket lol..

Last week i went for Gin's LA hip hop and as usual I forgot bits n pieces of choreo.. sigh... but her choreo was FANTASTIC n i meant FANTASTIC...

Reggae class was slightly better but since it was a combined class, those that didn't come the previous week had to learn to choreos.. one from xuehui and anan.. and as usual my limited brain capacity din do my any good.. it was a lonnggg time since i last did reggae.. here's e video anan put up.. :)

Come on... We can't deny there are bitches EVERYWHERE, can we?
They might be your classmates, your colleagues, your clients, your relatives, your acquaintances, or even the clerks at shoes shop! Does anyone occur to you now? :-) I'm not going to clarify what "Bitch" means here as we all have different definition based on our own experiences. What I would like to share is the change of my mindset on "Dealing with bitches".
In the past, I was afraid of getting along with bitches, especially working with them. Most of the time, they are lukewarm, irresponsible, narrow-minded, unreasonable, and enjoying speaking ill of others behind. Normally they can easily piss me off by just a simple long face, bitchy laughter, or nonsense bullshit. Usually I would wish I can kill them by my will on behalf of buddha, Jesus, or whatever, but now things are different.
Somehow, I'm more willing to take the challenge now. I have found it so much fun to piss them off via ironical email (but saying reasonable and unbeatable truth), better performance, more social life, well dress and so forth. The "Bitches Game" is actually very interesting when you drive those bitches crazy by "not being bitchy BUT elegant".
Well, maybe I was born to be an outstanding bitch. But by learning how to deal with bitches SMARTLY, I feel like I am a grown up.

Sometimes the bitchiness, if taken to the extreme, can destroy a person’s life, even lead them to death.

In my life I’ve had to cope with more than my fair share of bitches. And the following are tips from some of the experts as to how to deal with them.

Ways to handle a bitch:

Confront them: Like most situations, confronting someone about what their problem is, is the best way to deal with them. These people have deep-seeded internal problems and they tend to run from them, so cornering them is probably the best way to handle it. However, don’t get all aggressive on it – the best way to handle people like this is to approach the situation calmly and coolly.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer: Just be nice. Instead of focussing on why these evil people are trying to destroy you, understand it’s not what you’ve done, it’s who they are. Some people are passionate about fashion, others about art, and others are passionate about making people’s lives unbearable. But can you kill someone with kindness? You can always try.

Talk to the people who she is gossiping with: Figure out what it is the bitch has been saying to these people, and make sure they are aware of the situation so they don’t take it too seriously. You will probably find though that she has already been uncovered as the hater that she is and no one really listens to her anyway.

Feel sorry for her: It’s difficult to get angry with people when you pity them. And why should you feel sorry for her? Because her life is so miserable that she needs to make yours equally as difficult.

Remember, your words are just as powerful as hers. The reason a bitch has so much power is because she’s a good communicator. A wicked wordsmith if you will. By trying to talk things through with her you may get to the root of the problem and from there come to an amicable solution.

But the best thing to do when faced with one of these horrible beings is to surround yourself with all the people that make you feel good and special, like the person you know you are.

I have actually really liked to watch diving since the last Olympics.

It actually reminds me of dance as these "divers" possess great flexibilty, technique and elegance. Man, i think must be like great gymnast to start with. I believe they can be just as good if they turn to dancing.. Also, look at their toned physique *roll eyes*

Looking forward to the weekend, i can smell it.

Last weekend was really awesome. Sentosa to celebrate Tommy's and James bday n vivien's farewell. Followed by meeting up with old classmates Denise, Yanwei, Kevin for dinner at Central and then drinks@ the clinic in Clarke Quay. I felt really blessed and happy that day tho i was feeling unhappy throughout the whole week.

Sunday was my last class of reliefing at Attitude Performing dance studio. Thank god man, the kids are freaking playful. Nursing a flu and shouting away, sure way to die faster. During Taufik and calvin's rehearsal in NUS. i was already half dead. N my mucus keep dripping. So embarrassing, i think a blast junior saw me wiping the mucus off. :(:( ...bad day... hope i will be able to rem e steps.. I think i will like e item. I liked candy's choreo too but i think i will be too groovy for me to handle. I think this year's standard will far surpass that 2 years ago.. im so looking forward to. Just v upset i couldn do TNW.. cos i always wanted to do Zaki's. Hmm... i also wanted to do zaini but oh well...dosen matter...next time perhaps. A break from DE for the first time in 4 years... gd lah.. sit back n see others grow n perform.. Pixs soon? i hope..

Finally had a weekend break in Batam, phew... went there with my god damn fun colleagues... was relaxing but not sure why. maybe novotel's bed is too comfy.. im feeliing downright tired at work now.

The new guy is not coming over to my desk afterall, so i'll be alone.. manager says economy not gd blah blah blah crap.. watever la.. just dong3 it out cos economy is bad.. no choice..

i can't wait for 26th of July cos im going Bkk, a much needed break.. cos the next 3 weeks will be another roller coaster ride. So much things to do ,so little time, so many ppl to meet to. I gave up Sunday's high school kid's hip hop class at Attitude performing arts center for the trip n thank god there was a replacement. Next week is the last session and after that, time for a break. Feel really bad cos i dun think i can help calvin with his 4 session class at bukit batok. Cos it's really far, n im worried i will be too drained out at work.. also regretting not being able to see e uchays there hhaah

better not work too hard, let the body rest. Now our team has lesser ppl, gonna be harder for me to take leave. Guess i might have to give up ensemble concert, cos i dun think i can take leave that week, sadness....... heard zaki wants to do an all boys item or sumthing... sooooo sad lah....

Back to the topic, Batam was a nice getaway, tho the cab rides were ex, local ppl also try to kotou u, n the place aint really clean. But i guess its the holiday feel and company that counts. The massage was quite cheap tho.. n the cable ski was awesome... groceries are cheap too... but the food can either be ex or cheap.. but overall.. fun trip, had so much to laugh abt... loving it

Looking forward this weekends, Vivi's farewell cum tommy/james bday on sat and CCHSM gathering with Denise n mates.. really a long time since i last saw them. So looking forward to Sat xoxoxoxox:)

CFA exams

CFA exams are over. I feel so relaxed as of today. Nothing beats waking up and smelling the great afternoon air on your bed..n lazying ard and not worrying abt STUDIES and stuff... was a kinda feeling i din have for the past 3mths.

CFA exam is really the toughest i have ever taken in my entire life. Really. It is that freaking tough. Or maybe cos im at a disadvantaged because 35% of the exams are on Accounting stuff and finance stuff respectively each. Econs is only 15% and thus the last 3mths was really covering like wat the both majors covered in 3 year.. I'm proud of myself but i think im GONNA FAIL big time. Passing grade is 70% hor and passing rate last year was only 39% last semester. Heh, now you can see how sort after is this piece of cert that in my opinion, enables one to get a job in the investment/private banking/hedge funds,asset management sectors with a minimum base pay of 5-6k just to be conservative. So everyone likes money rite?? haha... well i think this will be the last for me for sometime.. I need to enjoy life! n dance..

OMG yest was so chaotic..so many ppl...like thousands of ppl taking the exams. The whole expo and corridors were so jam-packed. Lunchbreak was terrible.. I took more than 30min just to collect my bag and take my wallet for lunch.. not an experience i wana have again. N when i saw the O-school performers@ Expo milling ard during their lunch break rehearsals, i felt like shit. Y am i here,all stressed up, with accummulated eyebags and tensed up face taking the exams while others are dancing... hahaha ..ok im complaining again.. anyway its over. oh yah just to mention this girl who tsk me cos i touched her or duno was too close to her. Pls lor no1 intended to touch u, it was damn freaking crowded and ppl were pushing. u shd have walked faster LOL.

I need to shop

Walau its the great singapore sales and everyone is shopping lor.. the ads in the papers are like... soooo longg.... credit card brochures also soooo many ads..so tempting leh... too bad too bad...exams come first heh.. but i so feel like shopping n i wan to shop... I think i;ll be going bkk in july to shop(no kaki yet) and Vietnam to shop too lol... cant wait for the well-deserved break. My colleagues also planning a Taiwan trip in July but not sure if i can take leave leh heh.

Overall, thumbs up, it was good. haha. Hot fave: Sheila's item... it was jus soooooo beautiful..... man i wished i was in it.. I have learned part of the choreo in her class b4 ahhaha.... Fave: Andy's item (it really surprised me. i did not expect such a sweet n beautiful item), Instructors item, NRA (they are guest performers for both TBG n WU) Fil's item was very different and arty too, the locking plus whacking item (cute), Farah's item... weeeee OMG...she's got hot bod... man... i so felt like dancing when i heard the music.. SHE HAD IT COMING SHE HAD COMING.... lallalal.... so bitchy!!!

Bryan's steps are nice but somehow i dun feel the steps and character being brought off stage. Not sure why too. maybe the dancers held back? hmmm .... ooh e costumes are nice!!! hahah...

R rest of the items are ok for me. kudos to chingyi, ayami and sandra....good job done! really am so proud of your improvements and performance.

AHHHH but i really wanted to watch TBG... boohoo....

My exams finishes exactly on 8th June, and not to too much of a coincidence, both Oschool and StudioWu had to hold their concerts on the same weekend. It's really quite absurd since we dun really have much big dance concerts going on. Like why must they cannabalize each other??? Heh, according to Anan, they booked their dates first before StudioWu changed their dates, but im just so not going to speculate abt it..anyway im so dissapointed.. n one party wun be making my money n perhaps others who only have one day that weekend to spend.... So izt STUDIOWU or izt OSCHOOL???

For my preference, i would have gone Oschool coz 1) its near my exams venue..like yes EXPO... 2) they have got more bigger n more amazing dance groups whereby WU is mostly students dancing... But i will still go for WU cos i need to support my frns as they have always supported me for my competition and concerts... if only one was later...i wun mind paying going for all, n that includes Oschool's classes at Sentosa...so cool!!! :(

It has been two weeks... haha MIA again.. was darn tired waking up like 6.30am after sleeping at 4am and then back to sleep at 11am and to wake up at 2pm again for work for the past 3 weeks... but no choice... the money for teaching these students was too good to resist... i wouldn't say it was an easy job but definitely fulfilling esp when the students insist of doing my choreo than the previous instructor's one. Also, during evaluation they whipped our their cellphones to video their classmates doing their dance and how enthu they were when it came to the freestyle part was definitely worth my effort( minus-ing the extra zits on my face)... i took a couple of video, will try to post it up soon... but anyway e steps are damn easy and slow at certain parts... (but most of them have only danced for the first time so i applaud their effort. Went for a sharing session last Sunday. I was not in the krump video haha...kena cut...(tat was e only one i remembered e steps hahah, i forgot taufik steps, cos there were like so many freaking 8's....and the camera caught me only at e parts where i forgot my steps ahha...how candid.. anyway i shall link e videos taken by roz and candy here. Hope they dun mind!!

The past week was so much of dance. Much more than whatever studying i was supposed to do. Monday and Wednesday mornings were occupied with relief dance classes... n i was damn freaking tired aft tat during work. Which means even less energy to study. But i enjoyed it. And I learn one can never be too nice to the students if not they will climb over your head. Haha today i was bit bitchy n fierce and i was in control haha... so yah...more stories later... but i wasn't as upset as i was aft last monday.Maybe cos now i no longer the relief teacher but one in charge of the remaining project so they ought to be nicer cos i evaluate their results.

Sat was tech class, and OMG i never felt so unfit for a long time.. i couldn complete the full set of lugi... i guess sitting 10 hours a day infront if the pc really weakens whatever abdominal muscles one have.. lol... but it was gd to feel your muscles working once again. My only regret was not being able to attend reggae. Oh n i love the choreo too..

Sunday was sharing session with the blast alumnis.. im so glad they asked me along.. i dun think i have much to contribute as experience wise n skills wise they are much better than me.. so i guess i'll just keep absorbing till the time comes. I really love Candy's choreo.... very nice... ahhh..... but i came late and as usual i bit slower in internalizing the steps soooo..... could have done more justice to the choreo.... n ahmad's choreo is nice too...(he can do it so nicely)... but i think i kinda make it look weird haha esp i cant catch some of e steps... maybe im too used to counts n being lyrical w a song u dun really knoe dosent help... on the other hand, i can only blame myself for having a brain with lower memory space... how i wish i can get steps like taufik just like "that" .. but that explains why he is a doctor and im not haha.. anyway im really hoping to see the videos so as to better recap e steps.. lol... ok back to work!

It's been awhile again haha.. been bz with my last concert for sometime... Doing only one item for evocation this time. Well, it was rather rewarding and fun but i feel that ive distanced abit from e group. Maybe its bcos ive been working and maybe cos of other commitments from other aspects of life or maybe generation gap haha.. ok but i guess after this... I'll just dance socially when time allows. I've been neglecting other aspects of my life and this isn't fair to me nor ppl who cares for me.. maybe i shd get another half who loves dancing jus as me (envy taufik n candy ) haha... anyway i'll prolly be looking forward for Oschool recital in Dec... hope my technique will still there when i go for auditions.. till then... the semi retiring dancer haha... for now its realli jus work n studies...(yes CFA exams is in slightly more than 2 mths time) n e concert has taken alot of my time/leave haha(but i dun regret)... The LAST DANCE is always the best... frns/enemies ive made... its jus melts into part of my memories.. im happy n relaxed.... next up exams/ classes at oschool/ tech classes/ ballet classes ;p ...more pics add me on facebook haha... next up...weekend outings amidst the heavy mugging :) *not that heavy lah* lol

Has been a week or more so far,

How's chinese new year maybe the common question that pops out this holiday season. But to me, there was virtually none albeit a half day leave for my reunion dinner. Maybe i should have taken my leave for CNY instead (the usual meal allowances for PH dropped from $60 to $30). I can't even find a nice restaurant b4 i burst my budget.

Ken, come back from Vietnam soon. Im so bored here hahah.... Anyway, today was granny's bday but i din want to take leave so i went to her house for lunch. Gave her an ang pao, felt so gd to be in a position to do that. I gave her like $100 for CNY but she gave me like $60 back... haha...old ppl, they like to display this kinda stubborness when they actually need the money...but oh well my uncle's going to court, n my grandma needs the money anyway (btw my uncle got a mental condition)..but i dun like him anyway(i'll leave the story to next time)...

This hol season is work n more work.. haha... Chu yi was visit to granny place only as i was too tired, then work.... ethan, dfoo and i had dinner at a lebanese restaurant.. we found the servings too small for the price but they dun call it fine dining for nth, n dfoo was more interesting in the servers than the food lol... dun bitch me if u read this. Chu er was more boring, slept till damn late, den work... followed by dinner at Palm beach seafood restaurant at one fullerton...very atas hor? but v lazy nv take photo..and we ordered hell lotsa carbs....fiona complained do we have to stick to such a tight budget...but ok wat got fish, otah, squid and vegetables lol....n the two buckets of rice and noodles ..LOL

Was suppose to go on a cruise on chu san but in the end was being dua....made me wake up like 6am...so tired...anyway nvm......went back to sleep e whole day followed by borders at parkway to get a book for myself(4th one this week due to a 40% sale) n dvd for ethan (35% sale, ps:i bought britney's album/the devil wear's prada dvd and hairspray vcd).bimbo to the max (in name, not in thinking and behavior tho ;-p ...went to orchard aft that n kena tua again big time :(...

Chu si was visiting to Cuijuan's place, thanks so much for organising..i haven seen the class for like ages.... most of my classmates are civil servants... jeff is in e same coy as me lol...n xiaolu is in morgan .... hahah.... freaking long hours...more than mine ...heh... we had steamboat/played mahjong...was v.v happy!! i lost during mj and that explains me missing out on hamzah's students house visit (vivien/chingyi etc etc house visit)...so sorry wor but i had to rush to evocation rehearsals...)..

Yes i have decided to do the NUS dance ensemble evocation concert..but one item only. haha...hamzah's la since i guess im more familiar w e style n he quite chop chop one so i can concentrate taking my CFA exams... initially i was in the Zazo and the phunking/house part...but later i was shifted to the zazo/reggae part ...not that i mind :).... oh cant wait to decide wat to wear and i had bought a bryan friedman boots from the US...cant wait to wear it... but scared to big :( ...better not ...its like USD89...better dun waste my money hahaha...

oh well hope to see more of my frns in the coming two weeks cos after that i will be in hibernation to study for my exam in june as well as my last concert this year(probably).. i want to change my name in the blog to the "RETIRING DANCER"... not that im a full time dancer in the first place..but im really very nua...working i sapping all my energy tho not my passion...hor hor hor..!!!

Yest daddy's bday was fun, albeit feeling very sleepy n flu-ish. Too much of mahjong n clubbing on friday n sats...i dun wan to fall sick man... i think i need more sleep yah!

Anyway back to the topic, we had dinner at Magma(German restaurant) at Bukit Pasoh street. The cheese sausages were the best man, the fish i ate was so so... fiona's potatoes and ethan's chicken tasteed yummy. Daddy's pork dish tasted v pork-y. I din really like it..The anti aging beer was bitter but i hoped it did help me recover from my late nights ahha.. tho some bitch said i looked uncle n fat in my polo tee..(haha but he got his retribution, he ate fruits that was unknowingly dropped onto the dirty floor by my frn who is his colleague..damn funny, hope his mouth rots, period)... anyway i think i really looked older of late..not sure am i playing too much of izt bcos of the working hours heh..

Ok. Digressing again, thanks daddy for the treat! im sure u will like e prezzie (even if you dun, cant complain, u can only whine to fiona hehe)... powerhouse was quuquite fun also, altho someone was sleeping half the time hahah....but the songs are gd, n i get to go with my new frns, meet gage n ricky...im a happy boy..but im realli very tired...splitting headache in office now boooo :(... back to wrk!!!

Bonus almost equal to nothing. Maybe i should join the civil service and just getting the one month AWS is better than what I'm getting now.

No wage increment cos i am new, colleague came in 2mths earlier had increment and i have to wait till next year... ponders????

Bonus much lesser. Half that of colleague that came in same time? 1/8 that from colleague who came in 4 mths earlier? how is that fair?

There is nothing fair in this world u might claim. But this is outrageously disgusting if you ask me.. but what can i do? bosses keep changing...i have no bargaining power now. stupid economy is bad (fyi mortgage crisis)..direct manager not fighting for our rights..more work for our team as compared to the others int he same department??.. sucks..!!!

Its only two days away from funka finals at youth park n can u believe it...we haven had a single rehearsals yet...actually only one was intended on SAT and thats it.... haha 5 rehearsals to finals.... i think groups who have been working on it for months wana kill us for taking up that final slot for e top 10.

ANyway its good la...we onli haf sat n probably one last min one today...im F***ing down with diahorrea n flu damn suay...then e rest damn bz w sch, shows, classes and well taufik is bz in the A & E dept e past few days saving lifes.. see we are all from such diverse backgrounds and occupations and forming one group here is not easy. I think i am the slackest banker around in my department for now..... always taking leave for dance.... haha...

was jus talking to some ppl as well as some group mates...well it is v obvious our intention is not to win. then one thinks :if not to win then wat??? we spent so much on the costumes..... n time n my PRECIOUS leave...for wat? to do a showcase? in that case to who? to educate the public on more dance forms or a showcase for hamzah? or us? i really duno....but since by default we dun intend to win= less rehearsals/no new choreo/ nothing.... i duno....anyway i jus hope to get well n do my best....i cant stand not being able to do 100% for my any performance...be it shows/concerts/competition...i will get damn sad...like how i missed one step in the heats...darn...

on the other hand, our youtube videos haf garnered the most views, prob by the curious public who have heard abt our unconventional item hahha... n wat no techniques (according to hamzah there was zazo n reggae techniques..) n not so easy as "others" think.... haha anyway dosent matter...im more amused by commments left on the videos abt how wrong izt n wanting to complain us to the youth council.. im kinda jaded by this.... probably i have taken theatre modules and watched theatre... there are more offensive stuff out there n plssssssssssssss this is the 21st century.... we're not in some communist state.... darn funny.... or prolly that person who set up his a/c on 26 of jan haven seen bobby newberry since he was only born then...

anyway gd luck to all the teams.. i personally like some of the NRA teams and i feel that they have the winning format of a competition...nice choreo, neat and tight, good techniques...so all the best...i do hope some of the blast teams to get into top3 too to bring honour to blast hahah...and for us SOUL-Jas...its jus another showcase aft 5 rehearsals( less than a D n D function)...

not sure if it's us... the unexpected!

thinking back: i have fulfilled my dream of joining funka...it is the very competition i wan to join since i started serious dancing in NUS... im satisfied jus being in finals w all e other gd teams as well. Looking at the young dancers in the finals...i cant help but feel a sense of pride on how the dance scene is booming in spore but yet pity myself that i din start out early (like ballet/chinese dance), when i was much younger... 21 is definitely abit old already ahhahha.... (too bad conditions didn allow me to dance when i was younger ie objections/no dance club/etc etc)....some1 told me b4 no point complaining abt the past as we can no salvage it...just move on and b better... tho I wun be able to reach a professional level like those in the states, at least i can better myself and say "hey", ive only been dancing for 3 years and these are the list of achievements i have made for myself and also the great people i have known also (not counting e enemies hahaha due to my str8 forwardness at times).. oh well....we need to work hard for finals, e other teams are real good, strong n tight! gambate.... omg i hope i can combat insomnia...i couldn sleep for 4 nites...i think funka stress......!!!!!

Sunday was tiring.... had a whole week of WORK at full tempo cos my colleagues was on leave and i din haf a single rehearsal nor danced at all...but lucky my team still managed to push through to the finals. Really thankful for that and perhaps that is because my team had other more experienced members. The whole item could be better in terms of cleanliness n blocking, thats e comments i got.... cos i was somehow distracted at times (my fault as i shd haf fully internalised everything) tho it was onli a short 4 rehearsals from choreo-ing/blocking/cleaning etc. It was the most stressful dance/performance/competition in my life hahhaha.....

By the time i went on stage, i felt drained and tired. but luckily i was told that it wasn't obvious ...heng ah...but i have to work on my transition as i looked very jumpy at times ,n also my character have to be stronger as my other mates had very very strong characters each...

Its been ages since i last updated my blog.

What has been happening recently? Lots of things!!

Choronologically from the most recent to the oldest i can remember

4 jan was my bday... thanks david n ricky for going clubbing with me tho i dun think it was meant to celebrate my bday... it was at play...boring songs, ppl , n darn crowded....

Dinner was with my HK frn, albert. thanks for the tee shirt from HK and we had a gd time catching up

B4 that was high tea with miss world (kelvin). he was really nice...brought me to mezza9 at the hyatt for high tea...was so so lah but e deserts and oysters was nice...not to mention the atmostphere...thanks for the treat dude....

On my bday itself had lunch with my colleagues... thanks for the nice prezzies... the adidas watch and kiehls eye cream(yes i need it) and also Ken for ur dinner company as well as the ipod earphones/chocs/card...really love them... also priscillia and chingyi for the nice cute tee shirt and ur company for movie and arcade...was sooooo funnnn....too bad i stll had to work half day cos i din wana take leave....

tkx to those tat send me msgs or postings....cant thank all....but i was expecting some ppl to send me a greetings.. but none at all....im disappointed....guess our r/s are only based on $$$ or when the need arises.... or maybe to some we may not even be frns... esp one tat i know for more than 10 years.... sad how things turn out to be after my 1/4 century old bday(as my boss said)... but sometimes its just a fact of life we have to accept it...frns come and go! :)

ahhh n before that i had Gin's reggae class at Oschool! it was dope...missed her class and she was getting more humourous... but well i think im either tired,distracted or not used to her style...i keep forgetting steps.....

new year eve uneventful... was in office till almost 2 am...darn sad.... but at least i got to watch the fireworks at the most terrific view ever in my life... 29th floor...str8 at the river....damn nice.....awesome lah...i toook a video of it...but i realli duno where it went hhaha....

xmas eve was the same.... office till like 2am...sucks...but xmas was gd.... the party at sandra house was one of the best i had attended.... the such excellent host both sandra n jeff...the whole nite was fillled with fun n good food...oh n i wan our performance videos......... haahhaa..... so fun.... did a solo.... aft was mahjong at tommy's place...i lost and the worse thing was the cab fare back at 7am.... freaking 35 dollars to priscilla;s n my place....scary can hahha

i missed zaini's tech class n dance but working realli drains u of ur life...haf to prioritize.... really! might haf to further my studies...see how lah....dancing recently has been sharing sessions, hamzah's lesson, cali gym's class, eh n previously was at studio wu hahha ...quite gd...oh well... now to concentrate on work...im not v hard working hhaha

This weekend is awesome... was basically a dance filled weekend...

sat was bryans freestyle hip hop, followed by justice class at cali, then to oschool recital. It was really a great concert seeing all the instructors dance esp my fave ryan n GIN...they were awesome....kudos to the performers zhixiang, weiliong, lina n nicole... u guys really rocked e reggae item.... saw some familiar faces too... sandy n e other jitterbugs scholar guy.

sunday was jazz n hip hop w rashidah...oh i like her breaking dished choreo...sexy
after tat was dinner cum lunch cum breakfast with my ex classmate, den a meeting w my financial advisor cum frn ...followed by taufik's choreo, rozana stretching n teaching ann;s choreo...was realli damn fun...better than going to a club... thanks taufik...for being so talented to choreo on the spot haha n being so hilarious... n also rozana for uploading e video, calvin for inviting me n e rest for challenging me physically n mentally it was great.... towards e end...not much mistakes...but when it came to video time..SIGHSS...i made mistakes in some parts...always e case bleah...but i'll still post it cos i seldom take videos n i think this choreo is nice..!

anyway went to watch lust after that....OMG i could see tony leung balls as well as that girl's CB n nipples...abit distracting...but ok e story line was good n i was so captured by e storyline..so sad she had to die...

its friday anyway haha..... n i'm still sick after last thurs n fri bad fever.. still coughing...haven had cardio for two weeks ..even b4 i went for my bangkok trip last last weekend... was hell fun.... i hope to go back there again... but then again i wana save up for somewhere further, maybe japan or sumthing in march..

Yest went for studio wu's jazz class....was a total 360 deg difference... Sheila used hairspray for her jazz choreo...n she did superb alot of stretching stuff...thgs tat zaini wouldn concentrate on... everthing was gd...except she din haf corner to corner ...but nvm she was an observant n good teacher....funny also.... n im so glad i was not lost at all compared to her NY hip hop class...i looked like a fooll.....

Little did i know that i was standing at e side together w all e WU dancers haha....so when we break up into grps.... i always dance w e WU dancers....

but at e end it was not tat bad....sheila gave me alot of pointers during class..... at e end of it she even asked where i am from... i was abit shocked...but jus told her humbly tat i took dance in sch...tats all....but she said i was good.... so HAPPY SIA>...so long no good dancer/choreographer told me tat.....ahah n i liked her also...but im very sad...she ask me come back for her class but ive got work....no more 9 to 5pm cos training for CS is over...sigh....cant go for her weekday class...well for e sake of money..... haf to give this up...but no sweat...been going for yoga n hopefully ballet soon to improve myself as a dancer.... gotten stiff recently .... but at least i still can do leg extension yest haha......no tat bad:) ohhh but e WU dancers were good man.... alot of them damn flexible as well including Glady n another guy..(wooT)....k zzz time

had wanted to post the past whole week but damn work;s really tiring...yest was e worse...i finished work at 12am....n din even go out for dinner can u imagine..after lunch 1.50pm sat there till 12am..... hence i decided to screw e company n handed in my resignation today. Gin now sure has got a massive following compared to last time her raggae class so empty.... she dosent recognise lina n i. lol. but anyway she is really a superb dancer... her moves for her dance are so tough and no one in e room can match her up even if she marks her steps( her moves are like boom)... amazing power from a petite frame.... ah so in love with her... ou xiang... gush... haf to share idol with hongxuan and lina hahha.... gosh...... hamzah said he can safely say that gin after coming back frm e US is one of e top female dancers not only in spore but in the REGION. i wanted to post e video of my rehearsals on tues but was soooo tired everyday...din have time...

i overslept today, i din wake up until my supervisor called me and i was still in bed...got a good scolding from my boss lol.. anyway.... CS called me... waiting for them to do up the contract then im going to resign...i jus finished work at 11.30pm today sighs....its everyday ....

btw dun take e video too seriously hor...its only our first time learning this choreo ok? so if its not tat good pls understand... N also considering i only dance once a week now. not in form, tired etc etc... so hor some parts abit slow n messy la for this video... so pls give me some slack haha...

but i really liked the dance n the music tho ...n the concept too...initially was suppose to be in a circus...way cool...but later the idea was finetuned to the 60s countrylook...ok la...still not bad haha....

I need to blog tonite b4 i sleep, not abt yest events but more abt todays next wave rehearsals.

I think everyone knows I'm trying to balance my work (btw i work from 9.30am to 11pm from mon-fris) with rehearsals for my upcoming concert w NUS dance ensemble. N thruout the years there never seem to be an improvement in the diva-ness or the so called non-beginners conducive environment. From the very start, i was a non-trained dancer, and i had to overcome ppls negative comments n thoughts. Also, i had to be very thick skin and take in all kinds of insults thrown at me. On top of that, I had to really work very hard to be where I am not (not tat im tat great a dancer but its a personal achievement).

After last evo, i felt very satisfied cos after 2.5 years. I was finally casted into Zaini's item, albeit only a supporting role... BUt its enough to feed my small ego. I dun ask for too much, neither am i complacent or satisfied. I want to keep improving. Alas, the working world beckons and I dun have a choice to dance as much as i want. Talking about this year;s next wave, i really liked Ryan and his item. I said ryan is such a nice person, and someone replied me yah cos he's not an in-house choreographer. So minus that diva-attitude, the rudeness and the favortism, u get a nice choregrapher( n talented one ) like ryan. N it helps that he is cute. Ok not sidetracking. this was wat happened at my rehearsal just now.

Basically i missed the first 4-5 rehearsals due to work. I had explained myself and told zaini n yaling i wanted out cos of my work in a bank that can be really tough on ones health n time. I wasn's given an answer but onli to get a reply from Yaling to "call juli urself to explain, she wants to hear an explaination from u herself". I seriously dun understand cant one jus pullout, isnt would a viable reason. BUT OK NVM. i did sms her aft zaini msg me but no reply. so again n she said jus come down we see how we can get u worked in.

So i came for e first rehearsal and tried things out. wasnt tat bad. Jus alot of stuff to catch up n i tried my best. 2nd rehearsal i ended up spraining my leg. Maybe was cos i din train for a long time or maybe cos tat choreography was smooth at all, i got injured n no one bothered much. Why has this place become so cold and unfeeling. Or rather it has always been like that. I always felt it and brushed of this feeling. But now it has become so acute. so disgusting. ANyway nvm, so they wanted me in the item cos lack of ppl but since the first rehearsal everyone dun seem v frnly.

Third week, after trips to sinseh n western doc, din get well so din go. N well i wasn't blocked in to the first song like chun and leron was in the 2nd song today. UNderstandable. But i dun get e reason to snub me in the 4 rehearsal. I had not learnt the steps yet, my leg was still injured and i still soldiered on, u were in a bad mood, and whatever e reason was.. U onli picked on me when i did wrong or even when i did no wrong.. E others were always ok to u even tho when they forget steps like crazy. Only Yaling, Ivan and I were picked.. WTF... u see, in ensemble even if u r alumni dosent mean anything and what do the younger generation obtain out of ur bullying? They wun grow and nurture if no1 wans to spend time teaching n guiding them and how wd they contribute to ensemble n grow as a dance. Now one can understand e appalling attrition rate in ensemble n i swear i would be in that category soon. I'm not a professional dancer nor m i an amatuer dancer, i believe i would be able to dance almost anywhere out of sch. moreover, now im working, i have $, dun have to try so hard, get unappreciative stare, snubs and whatsover. I aren't anything to me, much less a gd dancer ha.

Anyway today was wonderful, the male choreographer din block me in the whole 5 hours at UCC. Had one hour of dance n tat was it. out of action, no rhyme or reason. It was not as tho i forget more steps than e rest. I do not think i do much worse than any of e guys or girls.. watever la..... u can have ur favorite pick.... cos my weekends are so precious....(i gave up last sunday for a gathering w "nice dance mate" and hamzah) and this wkend gave up time w my date n this is wat i get in return. For goodness sake i have better things to do. ANyway tom will email zaini n CC all, I dun care what he says or whoever reads this blog. Thats my decision and i believe e item will do well without me.. All the best. for now i will try hard for ryan even if it means depleting all e leave days i have. Its worth it for him!..

i was on mc today.

i took off for interview... lets not elaborate now..... but jus hope for the best.

My mum told me tat being lionel's frn is v hard, cos i always cant make my own decisions.... always ask for opinion....sigh....i guess this is so.... dun have many frns... n yes i do like to whine in the past... now its jus complain....but i dun complain to just any1....

anyhow if i complain to any of u in e future, jus tell me if u dun like it...i will stop cos i know tats how much u wun like it...yeah

But in fact, i should really change my behavior of being indecisive and always complaining abt stuff.... david jus said: U everything also not good lah...whc is true...i duno y im born pessimistic...

But I'll try to change for e better... everyone has flaws.... but only when one knows his/her flaws and change for the better, thats the crux of the whole issue.. n im working my way towards that. :)

Before i begin ranting abt a v. unforgettable bday for a v long time. Let me show u my poor injured foot. Can u see that swollen area that i circled? i feel really shitty. N perhaps shuan and juli are cursing me for not going for their rehearsals...but i really cant dance even after acupuncuture. how come no1 understands? so sad....like every1 onli cares about the end n not abt ppl who put in effort but suffers in e process...oh well nvm as it is..work is bz enuff....

N now enuff of morbid topics... ok here is e concert ive been promoting.. NUS dance ensemble yearly TNW series and this year its called fifteen and YES obviously we are 15years old..

Sentosa beach resort was really a pleasant sight, so was cafe del mar( duno how to spell it). Yest, friday 10/08 is the first day at my job at the regional cash management process center....

some1 there was a void in my heart leaving my old job. suddenly e ppl there seem frnlier, my table there was definitely much bigger, n much less work there.... compared to the ppl here who work till 9+,10+ on average(i managed to peek at their sign out sheets)

Kinda sucky but no choice... bear with it....n hop when the chance comes along..anyway the market is still hot.... Kelvin jus said i have entered the yuppies ranking( but wat yuppy ...my pay is pittance leh, ie barely there)... tho i applied for my CARDS liao hehe.... citibank onli nia easier to get cos staff ma... hsbc/uob/abn have to wait :)

Went to mox jus now.... wanted to see Calvin n some nus frns...but guess they are all scattered ard with their own frns n mox was far too crowded, so din get to really see them and i went off hahha .....so hung ard e balcony area, was bored but luckily i had Samuel to accompany me tonite... was he high today.... n he looked so cute when he was high....hahaha...saw a few familiar faces....rohai etc... hhaa..... finally din enter play cos was darn too crowded... so much for a weekend! not exciting.... but anyway my ankle hurts since i injured myself at dance last sunday and it had gotten worse after my thurs swim.....

I did a stupid thing by trying to wait for the nightrider service...after half an hour i gave up (stupid me trying to save money).... but i think the service has long been cancelled.... din know it cos haven been clubbing/or have not been taking this service)... great now i can not club so much n save more money..cos the cabs to freaking tampines are damn ex...like 18 bucks can? n i had to ask them to drop me at e main road so i can walk in... sighs...how i wished i live in town area.... can save on cab fare haha.....im a believer on not wasting money on cabs....

went ikea today got some cheap bedsheets....im a happy man... i feel like i dun need so much material things in my life... i have jus started work but i dun feel e need to buy anyting..... many be cos i have everything... n the onli things i want are v expensive so not much cravings...only love from frns n maybe family n U. lol ..... ooohhh but i do want my first good watch....(i mean along the line of IWC, rolex and the likes), n really nice convertible(out of budget.no license yet)... and a small studio apartment... so as u can see...all these are out of reach so i dun anything at the moment hhhaahhah... I LOVE IKEA SALE..

i missing exercise n dance cos of my injured leg...went for zhen jiu that day but din help much...n it swell tat day i tink cos of my swim during national day..couldn take it..felt fat cos could exercise cos of injury.... went for a tan n swim.... hehe.... n now suffer e pain...might see doctor tom(broke)..skin doc/foot doc lol... collect my tailored clothes/if im well go for dance... if not to bel's birthday in e evening...n maybe some other silly errands...maybe a tan n swim wun hurt... hahha been hearing nice compliments abt myself despite putting on a few pounds...aint tat bad wor ;p .....take care ppl :) looking forward(not so forward to a super long working week)

Handed in my resignation for my treasury ops job...

n signed a contract immediately with cash management department...

then an offer came on monday for europe securities whc pays abt 1100 more, lesser working hours, get to work at nite, interesting differentiated product...but bcos of me signing this agreement....my hopes of being in europe securties are gone...

$1100 buys u a prada bag, or 1/4 of the treatment for braces, one tooth whitening treatment, one trip to hong kong, one package of laser treatment to your face, great buffet meals, tons of movies, etc etc... so dun u think im upset? *shrugs*

Graduation

In the past 2 months, i guess this was one of the more exciting things that happened, tho i wasn prepared nor tot abt it till e nite b4....so bz with work la...had to collect my gown even when i was on MC . hahha ....Graduation was good n fun(JOEY nv take pic with me).... as in i get to see alot of frns graduating at the same time... a little sense of loss but i then again i was not the v studious kind to begin with... spent half of my time dancing in NUS.... 1/4 working etc etc....n onli 1/4 studying.... (lucky my grades still average). Oh btw the straits times painted e class of 2007 with huge job offers n large pay pockets whc dosent realli seem to make sense since quite a number of my frns still hadn gotten a job...LOL... bt then again the say this batch is a very lucky batch...plus a lucky 7? n graduating on the 7 of July(7) ...2007.....wow...isn't it auspicious....i din even noticed it until some1 told me ....hahha....so it means we have a bright future ahead....happy always n make a good livin

Dance

My dance life is virtually nil...i guess tats wat u have to sacrifice for the big fat pay check in the corporate world..(but hey mines not as big n fat as wat today's Straits Times painted e current grad pay is)... managed to sneak a few fri for lessons at dancearts n some lessons back in NUS...tats it....n also took half a day leave to finish teaching e last lesson at Parkview Pri...i missed my kids....who say like me more than the previous 2 relief teachers....haha duno if kids nowadays r so gd with their lies...but they do made my day...at least at e end of e dance career i can hear that for them... N also I haven had time to go for Ensemble's next wave rehearsal for Juli...NO TIME..feel bad but oh well...i rather do Ryan's one anytime...n it hasn started ...phew....verry packed nowadays...

Work

Been working in Citi treasury Ops for 2 mths now..learnt alot...but v tired...getting bit thick down the waist too...my leg muscles shrank...my bod feels less tight hahha...

oh well tats desk-bound job for ur info...hahha....pay aint tat great on contract.... 2nd interview for HR on Mon...wish me luck...regretted giving up e UOB/HSBC perm offer...but nvm.... Merrill Lynch/Abn n others haven gotten back to me...sad...maybe i shdn put dance n my sales experience into my resume...hmmm....any comments?

My social life with frns r at a v bare minimal...i miss all of them haiz...tats y i am so bz every weekend trying to meet most of them ....even for a few hours...i feel my phone has been ringing v little of late...so pls keep the calls n sms-es coming in(SURE TO REPLY ;p).....but then again...work frns r ok la...but still got a distance ...n lack of common topic at times...but f it....work is too bz for me to even haf chance to go to e toilet to poo.... I kept making silly mistakes at work today..im so tired..only had a 20min lunch n other than that i was working myself silly every min from 9am till 9pm...im so tired...or am i incapable...

i really just feel like dancing...y wasnt i more talented or y din i start dancing much earlier...

e only ray of hope would be the international hip hop competition in beijing as i mentioned earlier.... Oh shane sparks will also be there n many other reknown dancers...i feel so small suddenly but then again i guess any dancer needs this kind of exposure to grow..... its really crucial....gonna cost a bomb...but luckily hotels are provided free hehe....so diva hor..... thanks to hamzah n lovynn:).... chun's coming along too... e only two juniors kekke......weeeeee....so happy

but first...i have to ask for leave at my new company.....i duno if its possible...but its a once in a lifetime change....u know wat i mean? tho my job might be the dream job of many........

This title is actually a dance school at claymore point. It had been a tiring 3 weeks since after exams, due to rehearsals for hamzah's dance school concert at SCGS today. I'm glad it went well...shall post e pics n videos real soon (i hope) hehe...

I'm actually thinking about how do full time dancers n choreographers face in terms of their social lifes. Actually, dancers do lead a v lonely life, n i really mean full time dancers. I think i can say so because as a uni dancer myself, I had to sacrifice countless social outings, dates, and even family outing. Thus, I'm not really sure if im ready to trade in my future corporate life for dancing due to its (lonely n isolated nature+dosent earn as much as a stable job does). However, it does not mean my passion for dance has sizzled off or something. Its just that sometimes in life we have to make a choice ya.... I'm really thankful to hamzah for giving me a chance to dance n still getting allowance(his other students had to pay to dance). N im really glad he reall trusted me n had alot of central blocking...i hope it turns out well...waiting for video consoliation.

The best thing that happened today was a compliement from Hamzah's Jap student. She was really nice...and said we did a really good job. N she said i was particularly good and even her friend said so.. Her frn was so amazed by me doing lyrical jazz that she asked if i was actually teaching and i reckon she wana take my class lol...i would lurrvvveeed to dance for a living and impart wat i know to these ppl... BUT i aint good enuff to bad....n work is going to sap all my energy n time for dance. I REALLY HOPE WE CAN BE LIKE THOSE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES OR AUSTRALIA WHEREBY we knock off at 4pm n get some life... but i believe its not gonna happen anytime soon ...sighssssssssss.....a working nation indeed!

I was asked by my boss to leave in e afternoon today coz i told her yest i cant help her for e arts event till e 3rd of JUNE....so well i got 3.5 days to rest till my next job (Citibank)....so tired! hehe.. as the chinese saying goes "old one dun go, new one dun come"... tho i felt bad for leaving but Citi is ultimately my career...

Yest dinner w Alan n his frns were good... Its excellent listening to how successful ppl(n this i measure in terms of experience,position and renumeration) who have been working sooo long in the corporate world talk about issues n stuff. Great to learn more abt biz issues and ppl with more mature mindsets! Long gone the days of meaningless talk....unless w gd frns that is! Supper was with Kenny, my new buddy in Tampines :)

Im still contemplating if i shd go for e hsbc interview(last round), as it might lead me into further dilemma with regards to whc position i should start my career with.CRAP...

YEAH swimming later...n watching.....an SRT play at fort canning (FOC)...tom shopping w FIFI n frns ...so happy :) yippeeeeeee.....life's good....frns r fine....love is blossoming :) parents r well.... n im good (albeit being a tad tired).... but i love my life n oh my new hair :)

It has been a v hectic week for me ...tho not so much of the work in the office but more of the waking up early n sleeping late. This is so due to OT, colleagues outing, gym, dance rehearsals etc....n also doing online tests for employment...i get practically less than 4 hours zzz everyday....My head is spinning now as i am writing my blog, n my eyes ready to shut at any comfort point.

On a lighter note...im really appreciative of my frns who recommended me direct interviews for jobs tho e results arent apparent yet....

Work is getting abit more boring than exciting..

Besides doing fax,making IDD calls,n other admin stuff....kinda boring lor....tho $ is good lah...but i wana dance...lol.... {i haf a lil corner in the main office w my own desktop n pone}..maybe i shd join esp full-time w some other positions...bonuses not bad hehe(ssshhhhh)...ppl here quite hip i must say...yooo

Next week 3 interviews so far...im still awaiting e Citibank one... Monday(AIA, whc i dun tink i wana go), UOB(Wed), prolly HSBC but not comfirm.... got opening for contract position at Deutsche Bank but i dun tink im up to tat position..so giving it a miss..!

I miss dancing terribly... i missed blast class as well as all e Oschool classes this week....hope i dun haf to miss Fri's class... my abs are submerging between bulging layers of lard! boohoo.....tats life..office ppl shdn sit too much....! n always hungry cos its cold...biscuits, etc etc...blah blah...eat n eat, i luv lunch most....tho kinda pricey...yummy food. BTW. ESPLANADE GOT 1-FOR-1 promo at some of the restaurants there.....realli worth it...imagine Thai Express...10 bucks for a meal for 2...[but exclude e ex drinks they sell]....same as e food court prices...

Hmm i bumped into many Credit Suisse Bankers working nearby at Marina Sq....how come they eat at foodcourts when they are suppose to be earning quite a decent salary lol...neway...another of my DREAM JOB!!!***************************************************** officially work time is over but i'll still be here for awhile!

Dun think I'll rewrite everything but jus somethings tat r impt...cos these r happy moments i dun wan to forget....if not some1 will say i always write things that always shout "complains"(tho this is my blog n the primary reason for doing so is bcos it is a venue to vent my pent up frustration over stuff n i dun like to complain too much to frns as others dun like to listen to too much of others probs n vice versa)

In gist

After exams
1)Dancing (Derrick's jazz class aft soooo long n right aft my exam , Luam's choreo b4 my last ppr lol , An-an reggae's class, Ryan's lyrical hip hop class , Ann's hip hop flava ..... wanting to go for studio wu's but no time i guess....oh n lastly tech class..n how can i leave out hamzah's tech class n hip hop n jazz class as well as preparing 4 his choreo i promise to help him, it was good nonetheless...gd workout man! concert is on 26th....show ur support if ya free...at SCGS auditorium

2)Work (one day at esplanade 4 phantom, n i got to watch it free, was gd)... now working in esplanade CEO's office as a logistic assistant helping in an upcoming arts conference coming up, no dance shows tho. Interviews soon with banks.. one failed attempt at Rabo bank(blame it on my inexperience n e backstabbing HR exec ..hope citibank n uob interview will come soon!

I really think ppl (maybe not all, but fr my experience) fr HCI r stuck-up n thinks that the world revolves ard them...enuff said....they shd know.... btw is it very superficial to say hello or ask someone over msn how have u been? Well. I do no think so im sorry. I beg to differ from your one-sided point of view. In fact, it is a sign of effort in trying to maintain the friendship and also keeping up with happenings revolving ard your frns life(those u care for), n it is not anything mundane. Arrghhh stupid kids...anyway....at work now....n can feel e strain from working 12 hours for one day n perhaps more days to come!

I find it utterly interesting that the title of my nick tonight has somewhat relation to some others nick( in retaliation).... What has not replying sms got to do with commitment? So where is the commitment of replying? If one dun expect to reply, den one shant be bothered to message e other party..its irritating enuff to receive one word ambiguous answer when one sends an sms(unless yes bz/or when the answer deems so)....if tat person cant b bothered so cant i....im not happily sitting somewhere n enjoying my holidays or sitting in some cafe n enjoying their weekend...I spent the whole day shifting my room alone....tho my parents did help abit....but there was jus so much stuff....i finsihed packing partially onli at 3am(i din go out)...would someone pls make sense out of stupid people..period zzz time....haha late nights always creates PMS-es....but well-founded ones!niteys to me....

After watching DF yest, i set there stoned when the results was announced. No doubt Vas n Pris did a good job, but ermmmm i seriously DUN think that they are versatile enuff to win, LIKE HELLO, would u like to see them doing ballroom for mediacorp shows?

Furthermore, this contest i seriously skewed to the favor of ballroom? WAT THE heck is ballroom theme in the competition without a street or hip hop theme? stupid.!

Seeing JDI lookling silly in the ballroom round? I think Vas n Pris/Melvin n Sharon should be seen doing hip hop and then we can snigger at them! N to still think Soul Fusion did a fairly good job thruout altho its not their forte...

But if been seeing ballroom n ballroom after week from our dear winnners......bores me to tears....mediacorp shd seriously tweak its programming for e next season if there is ANY! Rich dads n having a coach that is the wife of one of the judges sure help u to win even if u aint talented enuff...ENd of story.Period!

Exams stress! Nid to bitch hahah.....But its true ooopsss..... ok i shall revamp by blog after my horrid last paper on fri the 4th...god save me, oh n i need to draw up my To-do-list...super many many lots lots can! :-P

End of evocation concert & missing+late ppl

Evo jus ended its run today, it was so damn packed tat ppl had to be rejected...and hence we had to run a 2nd run on the very same friday nite...so damn tired....2nd show oredi none of my frns here except for some ppl i kinda recognise aft the show like john from blast,n oh nigel!

Anyway, i had queued for e tix since 6pm because i know some frns would definitely fashionably be late....but well at least i made a backup and also a fool of myself by being the first performer to queue for tickets....yes n in the end i had 3 spare ones...because some idiot couldn come( well its ok) but this person dosen reply sms n dosent answer call whc i think is v.rude....den i replied(well tix are given out but i haf reserve)...i duno whc point of mine he did not get but he told me oh i tot u said no more tix so we went off.....like yes i know u brought ur big bag along to NUS,but u could at least call rite? b4 going off since u came all e way here, this shows the lack in interest u had....den no need to come den....YES.....bcos i am all so serious abt it n i feel tat well u dun care...cos u rather go somewhere else to EAT! than come back nor for e 2nd run....while some ppl still patiently wait outside....In fact,i did nnot even haf to keep reminding u numerous time to come early cos by 7.15pm u r not here.....i really duno wat to say best.....! i really duno wat to say....period.! ...

hah i din do a gd first run,forgot steps n almost lose my balance,because i was so affected by the tickets stuff...well tho a gd dancer shdn b affected but well i cant help it,n e 2nd run i had injured my knee prolly due to my loss in concentration from all the grumbling n stuff....yes i know i grumble alot....cant be help cos alot of stupid things happen,in terms of stupid CFA management,to diva politics in dance,to stupid ppl who dun get things right...etc...everything is jus not right!... i jus hope tat my knee will recover for tues class:) haha....hopefully:) yeah!

Its been long overdue since i posted anything...

I rushed back from full run jus now for our opening nite of EVOCATION,our yearly free dance concert by the NUS DANCE ENSEMBLE....tix are free but haf to go early to get it....yep...every year sure overflooded till ppl get rejected into the LT....so this year we haf 3 nites but i still predict it'll be overcrowded haha....

Anyway gotta go back for the opening nite show...hope all goes well...realli hectic...one event after anothers....CHingay,Citibank DnD,assisting teaching for dance in some sec sch,some JB show,Danceworks and now Evocation,super bz....nt sure if i will do hall dance hahhaa....yep...OH I GOT back my midterm test today yeah...public finance...n its one of the best grade this lazy pig me ever got for my midterm in my entire nus life ...geez.... 89 students... 1A-,2 B+,11B and the rest all C,D,F and pending...im so happy to be one of the Bs....haha ...i usually fail mid term one n despite being SUPER BZ THIS SEM>>>>>still manage to do not bad hehe...!
